Chat box – In an online poker, a player’s chattiness can be an obvious poker tells as to the confidence he has in his cards. Players who often hold strong hands will often talk a lot. This is one of the most obvious online poker tells. So, you need to be with this kind of opponent or player. Moreover, you can also carefully take a note to the players to determine what their behaviors means.

Taking time to decide – In an online poker game, if a player takes much time to decide  then it usually means that the player has marginal hands and not sure whether to bet or not. However, if they don’t take much time to decide then it usually means they have good hands and simply trying to deceive you. This is one of the other poker tells that you need to be aware of.

Use of check boxes – Almost all the online poker rooms provide check boxes for players that enables players to state their intentions on a hand before the action actually gets to them. If a player has "raise any" checked, he's probably got a quality hand. If the player use “call any" button checked, this would mean he might be on a draw or have a marginal hand  and he is not quite ready to fold. However, if player uses automatic check behind you then this would mean that the player is weak and ready to fold to any aggressive bet. Get familiar with the tells in poker and increase your winning chances.

Position raising – While playing poker online, if all the players either check or calls and a player raises near the end of the betting round. Then it doesn’t particularly mean that he has good or strong hand. Doing this can be an effort to steal the pot. You'll need to decide for yourself, but if you think that's what the player's doing, you can attempt raising him back. If he calls, you'll know he isn't quite as confident in the strength of his hand as he’d led you to believe.
